Chinese bamboo grass weaving technology tops Malta National Archaeological Museum

On September 17th, the "Bamboo weave preparation exhibition" was successfully held at the National Archaeological Museum of Malta. This exhibition has enriched and promoted the dissemination of Chinese traditional folk culture and art and deepened the friendly exchanges between China and the people of Malta.

It is understood that the "Bamboo weaving and weaving exhibition" was jointly organized by the Malta Chinese Cultural Center and the Malta Heritage Committee. Mario De Marco, State Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture Affairs, Prime Minister of Malta, Ms. Isabel Vella, Commissioner of Heritage, Kenneth Gambin, Chief Museum Director, Chinese Ambassador to Malta Zhang Keyuan, Gu Hongxing, director of the Chinese Cultural Center and friends from all walks of life attended the opening ceremony.

It is understood that through this exhibition, the excellent quality of bamboo in China and its unyielding nature, the tenacious perseverance of grass and the undiscovered tradition are all in full bloom, and the Maltese people also have a better understanding of Chinese weaving culture and fine traditions. It also strengthened the exchange of political, economic, and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
